IDENTIFICATION WITH ROLES
As we identify with these various roles, some of which I have listed in my own case, as I see and sense it, whatever these roles may be, we actually 'come under their spell' and, try as we might, cannot easily get away or escape their 'MAGNETIC FORCE' even when we deny such and lie to ourselves. NO matter what roles you play, they all serve to support your 'CHIEF FEATURE'-which may be and usually is, most obvious to EVERYONE EXCEPT YOURSELF -save under very special conditions, most of which we cannot accept or undergo or realize exist-which requires a 'SHOCK' somewhat similar to that required to 'bridge a gap' in the 'OCTAVE', an idea which few understand and accept or verify for themselves.

I remember an an argument/incident I had with an elderly woman who worked for my grandmother at the time when I was in high school or so. She insisted that 'THE MOON ONLY CAME OUT AT NIGHT' or that it could only be seen at night and not at all in the daytime. My attempts to persuade her that it could beseen during daylight hours proved futile,so I took the drastic step one day of having her come out on the front porch to see the moon in the sky which was visible that day....... Needless to say, she received a 'SHOCK' to her 'system',her preconceived notions and ideas, and, of course, tried to justify herself as to why she had always thought that way before....as we all do when we receive truly the shocks we need to become awake and conscious......She had gone all through life to her advanced age without ever trying to verify what was told her or to disprove it. She accepted, as most people do, what was told and suggested to her without attempting to verify such from her own efforts and experience.....just think of all the other deceptions and lies we have been told by others in our lifetimes.....you can furnish your own examples....from the stork bringing babies or going to heaven after death via an immmortal soul...
